last sunday , and myself went hiking. what you see here is the "Schottensee", the second lake in the aptly named "5-lake hike" in Pizol (in eastern Switzerland). this spot is about 2330 m above sea level, (air) temperature was about 8º C.
it was beautiful and turned out to be rather exhausting (we were on our feet for over 10 hours, but that's another story).
