howdy folks

haven't been here for a while, as i didn't take any photographs worth sharing since 2004. last weekend we were on holiday (Riederalp VS, Switzerland, with ~creatyves, ~fritsch and Marco & Marc), which gave me the opportunity to take a few pictures... i'll share some...

i'm currently working on my master thesis and will finish it in about two months, so i still won't be able to hang around dA very much.

to anyone who commented, faved or visited: thank you very much, i appreciate it a lot! i apologize i don't have the time to reply individually.

dear fellow-deviants

i've been and still am very busy with semester projects @ university and other work. as a result of this, as you may have noticed, i've not submitted any work since april. due to these time constraints, i've only taken few pictures, and none were worth submitting to .

only recently did i find the time to at least answer all the comments/favs/watches... sorry about the delay...

i still have 1,077 new messages ( 825D | 252J ) to go through, and right now my work has higher priority, so don't fret if i haven't commented your new deviation yet...

to do the above as told is kinda silly and pointless as it is IMHO, so you could grab whatever you think is worthwile instead of the tv programme. i think it'd be interesting if you post it here, too.

here's an excerpt from the book i'm currently reading:

out of Deadhouse Gates by Steven Erikson. second book from his Malazan Book of the Fallen series. very good reading for people who like Fantasy...

do you have any (Fantasy or otherwise) recommendations?

apart from the one above i'd recommend first and foremost the A song of ice and fire series by George R.R. Martin, starting with A game of thrones.

you may have noticed a couple of older panorama pictures popping up in your messages... i've updated 'em with newer versions, where the quality of the stitching should be improved (i did it manually earlier, but used Panorama Factory this time).
